Like the Nocerino family, the Molla family emigrated to Algiers from Europe; the Molla family from Spain, and the Nocerino family from Italy. Paulette Molla married Antonio Nocerino and Marcel Molla married Elisa Nocerino.
In 1942 Mathilde Molla, Sauveur Molla, Françoise
Molla along with her husband, their 2 children and other occupants of
the same building were killed during the first bombing raid by the US
Army Air Force in Algiers.
The intended target was a nearby school occupied by the German army. |
